Bromont City.
Bromont is the city located on the same highway 10 as Orford, but closer to Montreal. The city gets it’s name from Mont Brom, which is a favorite destination for downhill skiers in winter, mount bike and water slide lovers in summer.
Ski resort.
Ski Bromont has 141 trails which cover 3 mountains: Mont Brom, Pic Du Chevreuil and Mont Spruce. The famous attraction of this resort is the night skiing.
The location is very convenient for people who live in Montreal. This allows to have a full day of skiing and return back home. The popularity of this resort makes it very crowded over the weekends.
Skiing in Bromont.
We’ve skied in Bromont several times. This was my first ski experience in Canada. Here Maxim first started skiing when we booked a private lesson.
It was the place where we’ve spent last day of skiing with our American friends during our ski week in Quebec.
That day we were skiing mainly on the lower mount and Maxim did very well. I had a chance to ski a bit by myself. Plus we went with Maxim to the top of the mount Brom. There is a nice green slope which we tried together. Maxim wanted glades … of course, father has to make it happen … Fortunately there were slopes easy enough and still adding adventure for little skiers 🙂 .
There were competitions and many slopes were difficult enough. I was thinking to send Maxim to Bromont ski school, but at the end decided to choose the closest to Montreal Mont Saint-Bruno.
This was was the last day of that ski week with our friends which summarized the best ski trips I ever had in my life. We enjoyed skiing, relaxing in hot tub under the sky and the most important the company of good friends. Thank you guys! Looking forward to our future adventures. Who knows, maybe not only ski 🙂
