Where to ski in Quebec? If you live in Montreal and don’t want to drive far, then the answer is – Ski Saint Bruno.
Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.
Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville is a suburb of Montreal and located a few kilometers to the east. The city is mainly known as a location for Mont-Saint-Bruno National Park and Ski Mont Saint Bruno.
Ski resort.
The ski resort is located approximately 15 km from Montreal. The location makes it very convenient destination for Montrealers. So, it is possible to enjoy skiing even after work. The resort has 18 relatively easy trails – perfect for learning, and 9 lifts. The snow is 100% man-made, so no need to worry about the weather 🙂 . The most interesting fact is that this, relatively small resort, has 565 instructors. The main focus of course for learning to ski (or snowboard).
Family skiing:
We registered Maxim to ski school in Saint Bruno. We made such decision because of the distance, the price and recommendations. But I would prefer a different location, like Bromont or Orford. The difficulties of the trails are limited, which makes skiing for us less challenging and enjoyable.
