Canyon des Portes de l’Enfer

Canyon des Portes de l’Enfer is located 35 km (22 mi.) south of Rimouski via the road 232.

This park offers 20.8 km of walking trails and 8.5 km of bike paths. As well as the Québec’s highest suspension bridge (63 m high).

Honestly, personally, I’m afraid of heights. And each such experience brings pain to me. But on another hand, I enjoy nature, especially in the mountains. So in order to not allow this fear to stop me, I face it. What I found is, more often I expose myself to the height, easier it becomes.

Test your self on the “Descente aux enfers” (Descent into hell), 300 steps leading to the Rimouski river! Our 3 years old kiddo made it. He was tired, but he made it.
